So Wednesday I was camped out at the bar at La Tee Da ambassadoring (shut up! it's a word!) for Dining Out for Life. As ambassador, it was my job to approach each table after the order is placed, welcome the diners, explain the event and leave a donation envelope in case they'd like to make an additional contribution. Fortunately the vast majority of people eating at La Tee Da were there specifically for the event so I didn't have to explain a whole lot. That meant I was free to table hop and talk to people I know, or just hang at the bar with my camera and bottle of Pellegrino enjoying the ambiance. I can think of a lot of worse ways to spend an evening.
